Club is always looking for volunteers

LER Club is seeking a few new volunteers to join our Board to help support, grow, and develop our soccer programs. Soccer knowledge is not required, just your time and commitment to our membership!

Monthly meetings, committees, and program development are just a few responsibilities that are required of all Board Members. 

Various positions available:

- Director of InterLeague:

Director of InterLeague will oversee the program teams including interactions with coaches and trainers, attend meetings and have communciations with the league (LIJSL) and other club coordinators, and manage registration.

- Assistant Director of Intramural:

The Assistant Director will help with on-hand weekly at Bay Park field on Saturdays to assist with setting up the superivors table and serve as a presence for parents with questions or if anyone needs minor first-aid, and will check-in players as they arrive. Additionally, the Asst. Dir represents the club at events to answer any inquiries regarding club programs (Intramural and Little Kickers). 

- Field Supervisors (Bay Park):

Set-up or dismantle supervisors table; assists the Assistant Director with providing assistance to the parents; provide minor first-aid, when needed; answer any questions related to the program.

- Director of Referees:

The Director of Referees is responsible for overseeing the local youth club referees working the Interleague games, as well as the Academy games. The Director interacts with the referees, giving them the weekly assignments, keeping records, and making sure that the refs are paid timely. 

- Club Field /Game Schedulers:

Club Field Scheduler will assist in scheduling/rescheduling all home games for Travel and Interleague games. Schedulers review available fields and assign all home games

- TOPS Program Managers/Assistants: (Adults and Students volunteers needed)

TOPSOCCER VOLUNTEERS NEEDED:

The Club is always looking for energetic parents and teens  to help out with this amazing program. For more information on volunteering with the TOPS program, Please contact Carlos Ospina @ceal30@verizon.net

- Club Sponsorship Managers

- Long Island Junior Soccer League is also looking for volunteers for their Games Committee

Games Committee members assist the league in scheduling and rescheduling all legue and cup games. 

- We are also hoping to find a volunteer who can focus on our website development and social media presence. This volunteer should have experience with various social media applications and willing to help maintain our website, as this is one of our primary source of information to our membership.
